Try out your thesis ideas here—& bring them to class, too!

Dear students,

By the end of next week, you should have a thesis statement in workable form—whether your essay is based upon Hamlet or Heart of Darkness. Use this space and your classmates as a proving ground. If possible, we'll devote some class time as well to the subject.

By Friday, have a thesis typed out that I can examine over the weekend.

We'll do soliloquies the following week.
